The Cost of Christian Education - Part II
The Cost of Christian Education, part 2
Many of you who read this are interested in Newton Bible Christian School, but you are not currently sending children to a Christian school. Last week, I wrote to parents and families about how to make the most of their investment. Perhaps you too, are financially investing in Newton Bible Christian School, but not for your own children. Maybe you are one of those who give so generously to help us meet our budget. You may not get to see as directly how God is using your investment in the lives of our students, even though, you too, understand the cost. How can you make the most of your investment?
- Would you please pray for those families who have committed to Christian education for their children? It has been on my heart recently that we really need to make God’s provision for our families a matter of prayer. Every year my husband and I look at the school bill and wonder how God is going to provide because we know on our own the bottom line doesn’t make sense. At the end of every year, we are able to look back and see how God has provided. It takes a step of faith for families to commit to sending their children to a Christian school, sometimes it requires sacrifice and a shifting of priorities. Please pray that God will bless our families with the means to do what He has called them to do.
- Be involved. You already read our weekly newsletter. Do you follow us on facebook? You are always welcome at our events, and you are welcome to ask us questions about what is happening at school. In other words, you can hold us accountable for what we do with your investment.
- Consider the rewards. When you give generously for God’s glory, you are storing up treasures in Heaven. Even if you never see the results of your gifts here on earth, you will surely see reward in the future.
- Accept our gratitude. We are so thankful for each gift that is given to our school. For some it is a gift of time, for others a donation to an event or for others a monetary gift. Without these, we would not be able to serve our students and their families. Thank you so much for being part of the team training the next generation for the glory of God.
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. 2 Cor. 9:8
