Our NBCS Graduation will be held this Tuesday, May 17, at 7:00 p.m. Plan to join us as we celebrate God's work in the lives of our Kindergarten and 8th grade students!

The NBCS Band will perform that evening, and a light dessert reception will follow in the gym. We look forward to a time of celebration and fellowship with one another!

We are entering into our last week of school! Summer break is right around the corner!

Pre-K will end on Monday with a Promotional Picnic at 11:00 a.m.
Kindergarten and 8th grade will finish on Tuesday with graduation at 7:00 p.m. that evening.
1st-7th Grades will end on Thursday. Dismissal will be at noon that day.

There is table set up in the entryway with many items that have been left at school during the last semester. Parents, please visit this table at drop-off or pick-up to make sure none of your belongings are here. All unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity after our last day of school!

We are THRILLED to announce Mrs. Whitney Adams as our 2022-23 Music Teacher! We praise God for His provision.

The Adams family have been long-time supporters of NBCS. Whitney was born and raised in Newton, KS and attended NBCS from K-8th Grade. She has always loved music and played her first tune on the piano (by ear) at age 3. Later she took 8 years of piano lessons and added voice lessons in high school. She has previously taught both piano and voice lessons and is excited to bring her love of music to the students of NBCS! She and her husband and 3 children are actively involved in ministry at church and enjoy playing board games or taking bike rides/walks together.

Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Adams back to NBCS!

We had a wonderful Sports Day this past Friday! We praise the Lord for the weather which allowed us to compete outside.

As always, Mrs. Zuercher did an incredible job of planning this event. We are also indebted to the many parents who jumped in to help measure, time, instruct, and encourage. We could not have done it without you!
