NBCS Memo - April 11

Everyone is invited to join us TONIGHT, April 11, at 7:00 p.m. as we celebrate all God is doing at NBCS this year!  Pre-K-8th grade students will provide entertainment through choir and band performances, as well as class recitations and songs. 

Bring Snacks -  Each family is asked to bring a sweet or salty snack to share. Please bring this to the gym when you arrive.

Dress - Students should come dressed in Sunday/chapel attire. This includes collared shirts, belts, and dress shoes for the boys. No jeans, please. 

Arrive Early - Band students need to arrive at 6:40 for warm-up. All other students must arrive at 6:50.  1st-8th may assemble in the Music Room. Pre-K and Kindergarten students should gather in their classrooms. 
 
There will be no school tomorrow, April 12th, for a Faculty Work Day.

THANK YOU to everyone who sponsored, raced, cheered, volunteered, and supported NBCS through our 11th Annual Eagle 5K! Not only did we have a blast, but God used you to provide over $16,000 for our school!

We especially want to thank Clyde & Jamie Johnson for coordinating this event, and Elizabeth Hingst for her design of the shirt graphic. We are so grateful for these servants!

Lost and Found Items

Parents, it is time to clean out our building! A lost and found area is set up in the east foyer. Please stop by after school or before the Spring Showcase tomorrow night to make sure nothing is yours!
All items that aren't claimed by April 21st will be donated to a local charity.
 
 
 

NBCS is hiring for the 2024-25 school year! 

We need teachers for 1st grade, 4th-5th grade (half time), Jr. High, and P.E. classes.

You can now earn $ for NBCS without scanning your receipts! Now when you buy participating products at Walmart in-store or online, you’ll earn Box Tops for your school — no scanning required. Just connect your Box Tops and Walmart accounts in the Box Tops app!
A few things:
  • Make sure to save a payment method in your Walmart Wallet and use it at checkout.
  • When you shop in-store, qualifying earnings will come through after purchase.
  • When you shop online, qualifying earnings will come through after your items are picked up or delivered.
