This next week is a 3-day school week! Our teachers will be attending a conference in Kansas City Thursday and Friday. Please pray that God would protect their travels and give encouragement through the sessions. We hope everyone enjoys their extended weekend!

8:30	Arrive at school
8:30-9:20	Activities at school
9:20	Leave from NBCS
10:00-11:45	Tour of Wichita Sedgwick County Historical Museum
11:45-12:45	Lunch/Presentation at Spangles Kindergarten Class Dismissed
1:00-2:00	Tour of Indian Center
2:00	Return to NBCS
2:30-2:30	Activities at school
3:30	School Dismissed

Please have students wear NBCS shirts if they have them.
We are looking forward to a wonderful day together!

Please note the date change for our All-School Picture! This picture will be taken THIS Tuesday morning at 8:40. All students are asked to wear their blue, gray or white NBCS shirts and jeans!

This Tuesday is our LAST home basketball game of the season! There are plenty of reasons to have your family come out for the game...
-DONUTS! Our staff will continue the annual, beloved tradition of making yummy homemade donuts for the final home game.
-HOTDOGS! The Jr. High Class will be serving hotdogs during the game.
-PEP BAND! Our NBCS Pep Band will perform that evening.
-BASKETBALL! The NBCS Basketball Team has had a wonderful season! Come out and support our boys!

We are thrilled to announce that three of our students received state-recognition for the KACS Creative Writing Contest! For the Elementary Short Story, Nehemiah Regier placed 3rd. For Elementary Poetry, Brayden Fox received the 1st place honor. And for Jr. High Short Story, Micah Kruse also received the 1st place award.
Congratulations, Nehemiah, Brayden and Micah! We are proud of you!

Congratulations to Luke Regier who won our 2020 Geography Bee! Ashleigh Kruse came in 2nd place and Nehemiah Regier placed 3rd. Other participants were Lizzie Moran, Mariah Whitney, Kendell Reimer, Eli Robinson, and Micah Kruse. We are proud of these students for their dedication in learning more about the world God has created!
