Our NBCS Fine Arts Competition is THIS next Thursday, February 10th at 1:00 p.m.
Event Schedule: This will be a normal school day for NBCS students, but parents are invited to come at 1:00 to view the performances. Click here to download the tentative schedule of performances for that afternoon. School pick-up will still be at 3:30, but be prepared that we may be a few minutes late to dismiss.
Forms & Projects: Participants - listed below are all the items which are due to the school office by THIS Tuesdsay, February 8th. It is very important this deadline is followed, as this will allow the office time to make copies for the judges, arrange artwork, etc. If you need additional copies of any of these items, please let Carissa know.
· Judging Forms (with top portion filled out)
· Art Projects
· Art Paperwork (Artist’s Idea Statements, original designs and images, etc.)
· Copy of speech/music piece (1 copy for each entry)
Dress Code: We ask boys who are participating to wear a button-up, collared shirt, dress pants, and dress shoes. Girls are asked to wear a dress or skirt with dress shirt and dress shoes. All dresses and skirts should be worn to the middle of the knee. If needed, students may bring these clothes to school and change after lunch.
Awards Ceremony: Our Fine Arts Award Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, February 16th, at 8:40 a.m. in the sanctuary. All are invited to attend this time!

As much as we love snow days at home, we also LOVE snowball fights with our friends (and teachers)! It was wonderful to have everyone at school to finish off the week!
