It has been a privilege to serve your family during this first semester. The sweet spirit of the students, and their cheerful faces have brought joy to all of us. One highlight from the semester has been eating lunch outside many of the days this December, enjoying the beautiful weather God has given us. Other highlights include performing “Mt. Kilimanjaro” to a full house and hosting Grandparent’s Day in November. At Christmas break we will be saying, “Good-bye” to one of our families as the Penner family returns to their home overseas. We have enjoyed getting to know their children and Mr. Penner who has substitute taught in several of our classes, and we will miss them next semester. Please pray for them as they will spend many hours traveling and settling back into their home during the first half of January. We look forward to serving your family again next semester. I wish you and your family a joyful and Christ-honoring Christmas together celebrating Our Savior’s incarnation.
