NBCS Moms, you are invited to join us at 3:00 p.m. next Friday, April 14th, as we pray for our school ministry, students and teachers. This is our last Moms in Prayer for the school year, so please make plans to join us for this time!

Eagle 5K
NEXT Saturday, April 22, at 9:00 a.m.
Athletic Park, Newton

Registration begins at 8:30! The sign-in tables will be located just north of the tennis courts.

1. Register to Run/Walk - It is not too late to register for the race! Please register by clicking here.

2. Ask for Sponsors - Students have a few more days to raise their support! Please have donations into the office by this Thursday, April 20.

If you have not paid your registration fee in advance, please bring cash or check to the event. You may also register at the event.

Our NBCS 50th Anniversary Celebration is two weeks away! We will gather together on Friday, April 28th, at 7:00 p.m. to celebrate God's faithfulness for fifty years.

Arrival Time: The gym doors will open at 6:15 p.m. for former students and teachers. We ask our current families to arrive at 6:40 p.m. At that time, all 1st-7th students should go to the sanctuary for band and choir warm-ups.

Dress Code: Our 1st-7th grade students will be performing and serving. They need to wear black and white (black bottoms and white tops, or black dresses).

Volunteer: If you would like to help with food preparations, decorating the gym, or other details before the event, we would love to serve with you! Please email Carissa at nbcs@newtonbible.org.

We are thrilled to host JJ Jasper for this event!

JJ Jasper, is a veteran morning on-air radio personality, best-selling author, comedian, dedicated Christian, and devoted family man.

JJ hosts a national morning radio show on the American Family Radio network (approximately 200 stations in 36 states). When he’s not motivating listeners with his unique brand of humor and encouragement, he's entertaining people as a stand-up comedian and keynote speaker.

He is the author of Losing Cooper: Finding Hope to Grieve Well, Moses Was a Basket Case, and Jonah Had a Whale of a Time.

As a reminder, your student's testing fee is due this week. The fee is $25 for each student, grades K-7^th. Please bring this payment to the school office.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to order your 2022-23 NBCS Yearbook! The yearbook includes class and individual photos, plus pages devoted to field trips and events unique to NBCS.

Order forms went home with students this week. The cost of a yearbook is $20. Please return order form and payment by Wednesday, April 26th. You will then be contacted this summer when your yearbooks are ready to pick up!
