What began as a Christmas project has morphed into a New Years project! Thank you to the many who have given funds toward this effort! Each textbook is JUST $1 and they need 10 BOOKS for each student!
This past Wednesday in chapel, the students set a goal to raise
$740!
This is $10/NBCS student! We have currently raised $391!
Could we raise the rest of the funds by Thursday, January 25th?

5th-8th NBCS girls are invited to attend the NBCS basketball clinic on Thursday, January 25 from 3:30-5:30. Hannah Renninger, assistant coach for the Newton Homeschool Panthers Girls Volleyball and Basketball teams, will be leading the clinic. Girls may bring a snack and will be dismissed from school to the gym. Parents may pick them up from the gym entrance at 5:30.
To register, please send $10 per participant to the school office by THIS Monday, January 22. We are thankful Hannah is willing to do this for us and looking forward to a fun time! |

Our annual Kansas Celebration is right around the corner! This year we will spread our festivities over two Fridays - January 26 and February 16.
This next Friday, January 26, students are invited to dress in their KS western/prairie attire, and Mrs. Adams has graciously offered to serve everyone lunch! There will also be a spelling bee that morning.
On February 16, students will venture into town to explore! Look for more details in the coming weeks. We are excited to learn more about the place God has given us to call home! |
