Joni Nord is our Kindergarten teacher. Being born and raised in Minnesota, she is an avid Vikings and snow fan. She enjoys spending time with family, reading, and going on adventures. She and her husband, Ryan, call Whitewater home and have three grown children, who have all decided to get married in 2026 and reside in three different states!
As a second grader, Joni fell in love with school. She earned a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education from Bethel University-St. Paul in 2000 and a Masters in Education in Family Education from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities in 2007. She has taught in early childhood classrooms (Pre-K through 2nd Grade) for over twenty years. She is passionate about introducing children to who God is and how to grow and serve Him through all we do. What an honor and privilege it is to partner with parents and to come alongside our littles as they develop a love for school, friendship, God, and life-long service and learning!
