NCBS Memo - April 14

There will be no school tomorrow as we take time to celebrate our Risen Lord! Classes will resume as normal on Monday.

Everyone is invited to join us this next Thursday, April 21st, at 7:00 p.m. as we celebrate all God is doing at NBCS this year!  Students will provide entertainment through choir and band performances, as well as class recitations and skits.

Dress - Students should come dressed in Sunday/chapel attire. This includes collared shirts, belts, and dress shoes for the boys. No jeans, please.

Bring Snacks - Following the program, light refreshments will be served in the gym. Families with a last name beginning in A-M, please bring a salty/healthy snack to share, and O-Z families please bring a sweet snack.

Arrive Early - Band students need to arrive at 6:40 for warm-up. All other students must arrive at 6:50.  1st-8th may assemble in the Music Room. Pre-K and Kindergarten students should gather in their classrooms.

THANK YOU to everyone who sponsored, ran, walked, cheered, volunteered, and supported NBCS through our Eagle 5K! Not only did we have a blast, but we raised over $11,000 for our school!

Enjoy a few pictures from the event, as well as the results from the race!

Don’t miss out on this chance to order your 2021-22 NBCS Yearbook!  This is a special keepsake, full of cherished memories and reminders from the school year.  The yearbook includes class and individual photos, plus pages devoted to field trips and events unique to NBCS.

Order forms went home with students this week. The cost of a yearbook is $20. Please return order form and payment by Wednesday, April 20th.  You will then be contacted this summer when your yearbooks are ready to pick up!

***We are in need of parents to submit photos from various events!***
Without your photos we are less likely to represent all of our students at NBCS.  The photos do not need to be professional quality.  If you are willing to submit the photos you have taken over the school year, please email your photos to Carissa at nbcs@newtonbible.org.

As we prepare for our building remodel, we need your help! Do you have any cardboard boxes that you would be willing to donate to the school? We will need lots of boxes as we prepare to move classrooms and the library!
