How long have you been at NBCS? My first year at NBCS was 1981-as a Kindergartener. I taught for three years after college, took a break, and then returned to teaching in 2014.
What have you loved most about NBCS? I love working with other people who are committed to helping the students grow in academic knowledge and Christlikeness.
What is a fun fact about you? The application for my enrollment in NBCS, filled out by my parents, is hanging on the wall in my office.
What are your favorite things to do outside of school? I love gardening and reading books!
What is your favorite book? Hind's Feet on High Places by Hannah Hurnard
What is your favorite Bible verse? Psalm 92:12-15, "The righteous flourish like a palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. They are planted in the house of the LORD; they flourish in the courts of our God. They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green, to declare that the LORD is upright; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him."
How may we be praying for you this coming year? Please pray for wisdom in balancing various activities demanding my time and energy, and for my quiet time to be focused and that I would truly learn and grow through my study of God's Word.
