As a reminder, there is NO SCHOOL tomorrow.
We will also be off next Friday. Please mark your calendars and enjoy your extended time as a family!

As we arrive at the end of the first quarter of the 20-21 school year, we have so much for which to give thanks. Each one of our students brightens our hallways and classrooms in his or her own special way. We are thankful that we can learn to know each one of them as we have been able to have face to face instruction for the entire first quarter. We are also thankful to have enjoyed beautiful weather allowing us to eat lunch outside almost every day since the beginning of the school year. In addition, we are so thankful for each parent and supporter who cares about Christian education at NBCS. I know that each family sacrifices in some way to send your children to Newton Bible, and we appreciate you. Whether it is working extra hours, helping with homework, not buying something you would like to have, or making a long trip back and forth to school, you are investing in your children’s lives by placing them in an environment where they will grow academically and be encouraged to walk in the footsteps of Jesus. Many more things could be mentioned but one more that we are thankful for is something we cannot necessarily see. We know that God works through His Word and His people. As the Bible has been taught and students have been discipled, we are thankful for the work God is doing in the hearts of each of our students whether we see immediate evidence of that or not. Please join us in prayer for God to continue to bless NBCS and for His work to continue in each staff member and student.

Psalm 119:130, "The unfolding of your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple."

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held THIS Tuesday, October 20th, from 4:00-7:00 p.m.

Each parent should have received a notice with your Parent Teacher Conference time. If you misplaced this notice or have a question concerning your time, please contact Carissa. As a reminder, conferences are scheduled every 15 minutes, so please be prompt for your appointment.

COVID-19 Policy Reminder

Just a reminder that we do ask students to wear masks at arrival if they are not socially distanced, and we ask them to put them on again for dismissal. Please check with your child to be sure that he or she is bringing a mask to school.

Also if your child exhibits symptoms of illness, we ask that you keep your child at home. Your child's teacher is happy to work with you to make sure that all classwork is completed.

NBCS Apparel is available again for a LIMITED time!

With the school name and location on the front, and our logo and slogan on the back, these shirts will display the heart of NBCS to our community.

Shirts are available in white, light gray, or heather navy. The design is printed in the school colors of royal blue and yellow (for white and gray shirts) or white (or heather navy shirts).
