We are excited about our all-school fall program THIS Thursday, November 11th!
Here are a few reminders regarding that evening:
Bring Snacks - Following the program, light refreshments will be served in the gym. Families with a last name beginning in A-M, please bring a salty/healthy snack to share, and O-Z families please bring a sweet snack.
Arrive Early - 1st-8th grade students must arrive at 6:30 p.m. They may assemble in the Music Room. Pre-K and Kindergarten students should gather in their classrooms at 6:45.
Wear Costume - 1st-2nd graders will need to dress up as leopards and 3rd-4th graders will need to dress as cheetahs. Students who have a designated character role should plan to dress as their character. If students (or parents) have any questions regarding their assigned roles and costumes, please see Mrs. Zuercher.
Offering - During the program, we will receive an offering. These gifts will go toward future classroom remodel and supply projects.

Moms, plan to join Mrs. Regier THIS Tuesday, November 9th, at 3:00 p.m. for a time of prayer and fellowship!
All moms are welcome to join and pray for our school. If you have young children, please bring them as well! They will play while the moms share and pray together. |

This year we were thrilled to have our very own Mrs. Jamie Johnson, of JJ Captured Images, capture our student pictures. She took two shots of each student and would love to make these available to the parents.
For a charge of $5 per student, we will email you digital copies of the two poses of your student. This payment may be delivered to the office by Tuesday, November 16th. All checks may be made payable to Jamie Johnson.

Newton Bible Christian School is excited to partner with Heartland Pregnancy Care Center to provide gifts for many children this Christmas! These gifts will be made available for Heartland's clients to go "shopping" for their kids in the weeks leading up to Christmas. For many of them, these will be the only toys their children will receive this season.
See below for details regarding the gifts. All gifts must be delivered to the school office by Wednesday, November 17th. Thank you!

We are thrilled to once again welcome our grandparents (or adopted grandparents!) into our school and classrooms for our Grandparents' Day on November 19.
Please invite your grandparents to join us for this event! Grandparent activities will begin at 9:00 a.m. on November 19th and will end at noon. Students will also be dismissed at noon that day!
We are asking each family to bring a dozen pastry items (muffins, donuts, pumpkin/banana, assorted pastries, etc.) These will be shared together during our reception time. Thank you! |

Educational Grant Deadline
Parents, please check your email for information from the NBCS leadership regarding Spring Educational Grants. We are asking for applications for financial aid to be turned in by Monday, November 15. The School Board is currently looking for ways to raise funds for our Educational Grant Fund. If you would like to donate money to this fund, that would be a great blessing! Please indicate the check or money that you give is for the educational grant fund.

Inclement Weather Communication
The weather is growing colder, which means winter is just around the corner! As a reminder, if school is delayed or canceled due to weather, we will primarily communicate through a school-wide email, Facebook post, and posting on KWCH. Your teachers may also text you the news, but please check email, Facebook, or KWCH if there is inclement weather. Communication will be sent out by 7:00 a.m. Thank you!
