Spring is coming! Download your April Calendar - it’s going to be a fun month!

Please note that there is no school on Fridays, April 3 and April 17.

As we approach the end of the school year, we want to thank you for your continued cooperation in helping keep our students safe during dismissal. This time of year can get busy, and it’s important that we don’t grow complacent with our parking lot procedures.

Please help us by following these guidelines:

• Do not back out into the car line. If you choose to park, please pull forward into a spot facing the car line so you can safely pull out when leaving.

   

• Do not go around vehicles that are waiting in the car line if you’re in the car line. Wait for the vehicles ahead of you to move.

   

• Do not back up while in the car line.

   

• Students are not permitted in the parking lot without an adult present.

If you prefer to pick up your student from your vehicle, please remain in the car line. If you would like to walk up, please park and meet your student.

We also ask that if someone else (such as a grandparent or friend) will be picking up your child, you take a moment to share these procedures with them.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and orderly environment for everyone!

The School Board would like to hear from parents regarding technology use at NBCS. Please take a moment to take this survey by Monday, April 13, and let us know if you have any questions!

The Eagle 5K is less than one month away!

Here are three ways to get involved:

1. Register to Run or Walk – Be sure to save your spot by using the registration link. Register by Wednesday, April 15 to receive a free race t-shirt!

2. Invite Sponsors – Students are encouraged to send sponsor letters to family and friends. Raising $15 covers the cost of registration and a race t-shirt, and any additional support goes directly toward benefiting our school.

3. Lend a Hand – We’d love your help on race day! Volunteers are needed to watch along the race route, bring snacks or drinks, or take photos of the runners. Click here to sign up to help.

On the day, registration will start at 8:30am. The run/walk will start at 9:00am.

We’re looking forward to a wonderful Eagle 5K and appreciate your partnership in making this event a success!

Mark your calendar for April 16 at 7pm when we will celebrate all God is doing at NBCS this year! We will have choir and band performances, as well as class recitations and songs.

Following the program, light refreshments will be served. Each family is asked to bring a sweet or salty snack to share.
