On February 12th, 2021 we will host our 8th Annual NBCS Fine Arts Competition! All NBCS students have the opportunity to compete in categories ranging from piano solos to duet acting to oil painting to woodworking...and many, many more! Although registration for this event will not take place till January, we wanted to make you aware of the details before Christmas break. Whether your student is creating an art piece, memorizing a speech, or perfecting an instrumental performance, the two weeks off school may be the perfect time to begin working on their entry! Fine Arts registration will take place in January. We are charging a $3 fee for each entry. Click here for a description document to briefly explain each of the categories. Please look over these pages with your students and choose the categories they would most enjoy exploring. We would love to have all students participate! After you register in January, you will then receive further rules and directions for that specific event. Also, don’t forget to mark your calendars to attend this event! It is a joy to view the art projects, listen to the speeches and instrumental performances, and hear the choirs perform. We are looking forward to it! |
