We know many of you pray so fervently for our school, and those prayers do not go unappreciated! These prayer cards are printed and available in the office if you would like to pick one up for you or to share with a prayer warrior you know. Available while cards last.

 

A packet will be coming home next week with details about our 13th Annual NBCS Fine Arts Competition, taking place on February 13, 2026. Students in 4th–8th grade will have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of categories from music and speech to art and woodworking.

 

We’re sending this information early so families can look it over before Christmas break and students can begin thinking about potential projects or performances.

 

Please keep an eye out for the letter and category descriptions in your student’s folder next week!

Parents are always welcome to join the Wednesday morning Chapels at NBCS, but next Wednesday will be a little extra special. Some of our students will be performing Christmas pieces they’ve been working on.

 

Check with your student to see if they’re performing, and feel free to come listen in if you can. We’d love to have you celebrate the season with us! Chapel starts at 8:45am.

 

Red & Green Spirit Day is next Friday, December 19! Students are invited to come dressed in their most festive Christmas colors as we enjoy class parties and wrap up an amazing semester before Christmas Break.

 

Feel free to bring out the cozy sweaters, fun accessories, and all the holiday cheer!

Christmas Break is right around the corner! It is from December 22 to January 2. Classes will resume on Monday, January 5.

We are hiring a morning Pre K and afternoon Kindergarten teacher for the last quarter of the school year (March - May 2026) to teach in Mrs. Johnson’s classes when she has her baby!
