Our Annual Eagle 5K Fun Run/Walk event is fast approaching! This event is one of our largest fundraisers each year - and one of our favorite times together! Whether you run, walk, or crawl, all are encouraged to join us in supporting NBCS in this way.
How can YOU help?
1. Register to Run/Walk - Although the initial deadline is past, families may still register by emailing Carissa at nbcs@newtonbible.org or calling the school office at 316-283-1337.
2. Ask for Sponsors- Students are encouraged to send sponsor letters to ALL their family and friends. Raising a minimum of $15 will cover their race registration and t-shirt, but more will support our school! PLUS, students who raise the most will receive a pizza party and additional prizes!
3. Volunteer - This race cannot happen without your help. We need more volunteers to help with registration, timing, snacks, etc. Please contact Carissa if you are willing to help!
Parents, please mark your calendars! Our Sports Day date has changed again. Sports Day will now be held on Thursday, May 13th, at Newton High School track. However, we are excited because this enables us to take an All-School field trip to the Sedgwick County Zoo!
Look for more details to come home in the coming weeks!
"The Race"
Thank you to everyone who attended our performance of "The Race" this past Thursday night. We had a wonderful time together!
4th Quarter Progress Reports Progress reports were sent home with students this past week. If you have any questions concerning the report, please do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher. Thank you!
