How long have you been at NBCS? I started as a student in 1994! In 2009 I began teaching 3rd-4th grades and moved to teaching Kindergarten in 2018!

What is your favorite NBCS memory?
I have always loved the special events that our school hosts. As a student, I looked forward to Sports Day and Verse Down chapels especially. As a teacher, I have really enjoyed our Thanksgiving Feast with Grandparents and judging at our Fine Arts Meet.

What is a fun fact about you?
Mrs. Regier was my 6th grade teacher. She inspired me to choose education for my career!

What are your favorite things to do outside of school? Running, gardening, and pickle ball with my husband...when we aren't playing with our two boys! I also love baking goodies for my family and friends.

What is your favorite drink? Iced coffee, hot coffee, any coffee!!

What are your favorite snacks? Cookies, scones, and dark chocolate!

What is your favorite Bible verse? Hebrews 12:1-2 - "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God."

How may we be praying for you this coming year? Pray that I would have wisdom in balancing teaching and raising Linden and Rowan to love the Lord.

Mrs. Foster's first day of school at NBCS! She was in 2nd grade. Her classroom was the same classroom she is teaching in now!

Access Sycamore Education by clicking here. Type in the NBCS school code (2213), your username, and password. The username and password will be emailed to you by the school office. If you have not received this, you may email the office. On the right hand corner of the screen, you will see your student’s name. Hold your curser over the icon above their name. A menu should appear with the following options: Profile, Documents, Grades, Schedule, Attendance, HW/Assignments. From here you may navigate to find the information you need.

Picture of the Week

We are so thankful for Mr. Adam Lancaster! Each month he will be leading our "theme" chapels over 1 Timothy 4:6-10. We are praying God will use Adam to open up the Word to us and help us train for godliness in the coming year.

"If you put these things before the brothers, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, being trained in the words of the faith and of the good doctrine that you have followed. Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance. For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe."
