Our first semester is almost complete!

We are excited for our last Moms in Prayer time of this semester! We will gather together on Thursday, December 5, at 8:30 a.m. (directly following drop-off) in the church overflow to pray together.

Childcare will again be available for younger siblings! We are looking forward to another sweet time of fellowship and encouragement with one another.

We are just a few weeks away from one of our favorite events every year - Grandparents' Day! This event will be held on Thursday, December 12th.

School will begin at normal time, but grandparents should arrive by 9:30 a.m. They will enjoy a program in the sanctuary, a band performance and snack activity in the gym, and special times in the classrooms. The festivities will finish at noon, when all will be dismissed (including students). We love when grandparents join us for a morning at school!

Parents, we need your help! We ask that each family contribute at least one item needed for the treat for students and grandparents. Please click here to sign up for the item(s) you are willing to provide and deliver them to the school office by Monday, December 9th. Thank you!

We also need NBCS dads (or moms!) who are willing to help with table/chair set-up early Thursday morning! If you are willing to help in this area, please email Mrs. Huxman at nbcs@newtonbible.org. Thank you!

Thursday, December 12th, will be a special day at NBCS! We will host our grandparents from 9:30-12:00, dismiss from school at noon, and then return at 7:00 p.m. for our school program!

Plan to join us for this year's performance of "The Widow's Might." Our Jr. High students have been working hard on this drama, and our 1st-8th students will provide the music for the evening.

Students should all wear chapel attire that evening. This is a great opportunity to wear your Christmas dresses!

Following the program, we will share light refreshments in the gym. We ask each family to bring a sweet or salty finger food to share. We are looking forward to this time together!

This homework is due by Thursday, December 5. When you have listened, don't forget to mark it in your listening journal and get your parent's signature!
