NBCS Memo - May 2

Our annual Sports Day is TOMORROW, May 3rd!  We will all meet at the Bethel Track at 9:00 a.m.  Events begin promptly at 9:00.  We do ask that each student bring a water bottle and wear their P.E. uniform (3rd-8th grades), shorts/sweats, and sunscreen.  If you did not purchase a KFC lunch, you may bring a packed lunch as well.  Pick-up will be at 1:00 p.m. for 1st-8th grades and between 12:00-12:30 for grades K4 and K5, depending on how long events last and if you would like them to stay for lunch.

We will need a few parents to help time our races and be available to assist teachers in measuring, judging, and officiating.  Thank you in advance for your help!

***If weather should affect these plans, an email detailing alternate plans will go out by 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.

Everyone is invited to attend our Kindergarten & 8th Grade Graduation on Tuesday, May 14th, at 7:00 p.m.  Our K4-8th grade students will be performing during the ceremony, so we ask that all students come dressed in their nice chapel attire.  Students should arrive 15 minutes early to warm up.

Plan to stay for the cake and punch reception in the gym following the ceremony.  We look forward to celebrating all that God has done, and will continue to do, in our graduates’ lives.  Esther, Priscilla, and our Kindergarten students have been a blessing to NBCS!

Jubilate, a 12-member English handbell choir from Appalachian Bible College, will be performing for the NBCS Students on Wednesday, May 15th.  They will also be joining us for lunch that day.  The performance will be at 1:15 p.m. and all are welcome to join!

3rd Place in the Old Testament Knowledge Test
