Our NBCS 50th Anniversary Celebration is TOMORROW! We will gather together at 7:00 p.m. on April 28th to celebrate God's faithfulness for fifty years.
Arrival Time: The gym doors will open at 6:15 p.m. for former students and teachers. We ask our current families to arrive at 6:40 p.m. At that time, all 1st-7th students should go to the sanctuary for band and choir warm-ups.

Dress Code: Our 1st-7th grade students will be performing and serving. They need to wear black and white (black bottoms and white tops, or black dresses).

As part of our celebration of 50 years, the school board has set up a special legacy fund. This fund is to be used for items that will contribute to the continuation of the school such as playground equipment, curriculum upgrades, and the Family Financial Education Grant.
If it would be a joy for you to give toward the future of NBCS, you may bring your contribution to the school office anytime. There will also be opportunity for you to give toward the Legacy Fund at our 50th Anniversary Celebration tomorrow! |

SPORTS DAY is this next Friday, May 5th!
This is our NBCS track and field day. Please read below for all the details!
Where? Newton High School Track. Drop off and pick up there!
Who? All Pre-K-8th Grade students (Parents are invited/encouraged to watch!)
When? All students must arrive at 9:00 a.m.
Pre-K-K students will dismiss at 12:00 and 1st-8th grade students will dismiss at 1:00 p.m.
What to bring? A sack lunch and water bottle (Pre-K and K students do not need to pack a lunch, unless they plan to stay with their parents to eat!)
What to wear? P.E. uniform (or shorts and t-shirt for younger students) & sunscreen or jacket if needed!
Directions to the Track? We will not meet at school. Please drop off and pick up at the Newton High School track. From 12th street, turn north onto Boyd street. This will take you past the main high school parking lot. You will park in the first parking lot on your right. Please see map below for help! If that parking lot is full, you may park in the main high school parking lot and walk to the track. |

THANK YOU to everyone who sponsored, ran, walked, cheered, volunteered, and supported NBCS through our 10th Annual Eagle 5K! Not only did we have a blast, but God used you to provide over $15,000 for our school!
We especially want to thank Clyde & Jamie Johnson and Anthony & Whitney Adams for their help in coordinating this event, and Justin Powell for his design of the shirt graphic. We are so grateful for these servants!
