We are excited to celebrate Kansas Day this year by visiting Wichita for a day of aviation discoveries!

Here are a few reminders regarding the field trip tomorrow:
  • Don't forget to wear closed-toe shoes! This is required by the facilities we will be visiting. Also, if you have an NBCS shirt, we encourage you to wear it!
  • If you did not order a Chick-Fil-A lunch, please remember to pack a lunch.
  • Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to drive! Students must arrive at school at the normal time, and we will leave for Wichita at 9:00 a.m. Directions will be available for the drivers. As a reminder, K4/K5 students will be back to school between 12:30-12:45 p.m. and ready for pick-up!
We are looking forward to a fun day together in Wichita! Please email Carissa at nbcs@newtonbible.org if you have any questions concerning the day.
 
As a reminder, there is no school this next Thursday and Friday!
Teachers will be in Kansas City at an Educator's Conference. You may pray that this time is used by God to edify and encourage our staff!
 
We are excited by the opportunity to once again perform for the residents of Kidron Bethel and bless them with Valentine cards made by our students! If you are willing to help transport students to Kidron, please email Carissa as soon as possible. You may contact her at nbcs@newtonbible.org. Thank you!
 

NBCS Geography Bee
Congratulations to Priscilla Harder who won our 2019 Geography Bee! Luke Regier came in 2nd place and Lizzie Moran placed 3rd. Other participants were Nehemiah Regier, Benjamin Close, Kendell Reimer, Micah Kruse, and Esther Latta. We are proud of these students for their dedication in learning more about the world God has created!

On February 22, 2019 we will host our 6th Annual NBCS Fine Arts Competition! We are thrilled by the number of students who have signed up to compete in categories ranging from piano solos to duet acting to watercolor painting to woodworking...and many, many more! You may click here to see a list of everyone registered for this event. Please note that ALL 4th-8th grade students in our NBCS Choir will be performing at this event!

All students who are competing should have received further instructions and forms. Please email Carissa at nbcs@newtonbible.org if you have any questions!

Students competing in a music or speech category are required to dress in the black and white attire for the Fine Arts Event. We ask that boys who are participating wear a white shirt, black pants, and a dark tie. Girls are asked to wear a black dress or black skirt and white top.

We desire to use the NBCS Fine Arts Competition in such a way that the students grow in their God-given abilities, being more equipped to use them for the glory of God and the good of others! We are looking forward to a wonderful event!

If you or anyone you know would be interested in volunteering your time to judge one or more of the categories in this event, please email nbcs@newtonbible.org. It takes many willing judges to make this event a success!
