Thank you to everyone who attended our "Great American Time Machine" performance this past Thursday evening! We are so proud of our students (and staff!) for their hard work on this performance.

We are excited to announce that our 6th Annual NBCS Fine Arts Competition will be held on February 22, 2019! This event is open to all 1st-8th grade NBCS and local home school students. It is an opportunity for students to display their musical, artistic, dramatic, and academic abilities. Guest judges from the community help to evaluate our student performances and projects. This is a wonderful growing experience for everyone involved!

Please take note that, due to scheduling, our school will not be traveling to the regional competitions this year. However, the academic tests will be done online and will be judged by MAACS. Regional awards will be available for these tests.

Further details will be sent home with students the beginning of January. However, Christmas break is a wonderful chance to begin preparing for this event. Please look over this category list and help your student(s) choose an area they would like to compete in. We then encourage parents to begin assisting their student(s) in selecting speeches, instrumental pieces, and/or art projects to begin perfecting.

We are excited to see how this event is once again used to develop the gifts God has given our students!

Our students enjoyed sharing joy this morning as they sang Christmas carols for a few of the school's neighbors! May we all look for ways to spread the hope of Jesus' birth to those around us this Christmas season!
